Local bus fares to be reduced by 20% from today

Passengers traveling outside of Dublin will now benefit from a 20 percent reduction to their bus fares.

Lower prices come into effect today, and are part of the Government's package to reduce the cost of living.

The NTA's Dermot O'Gara, hopes it will encourage more people to use public transport.
