A special charity walk by members of An Garda Siochana will conclude in County Longford this evening.
Over a dozen Gardai began a journey on the Royal and Grand Canals on Monday to raise money for the Little Blue Heroes charity.
The organization helps seriously ill children become honorary members of the Gardaí as well as offering support to their families.
The El Camino Del Garda has raised over €10,000 so far this week, and it’s expected a large crowd will come out to support the Gardai as they complete the walk to Clondra this evening at around 6pm.
