There are fresh concerns for Louth, Donegal and Waterford as their incidence rates of COVID-19 cases per 100 thousand population continue to rise.

Louth has now registered a rate of 101.6 as of midnight last night, while Donegal has risen sharply from 72.9 on Friday to 96.7.

Waterford's rates went from 85.2 to 93.8 in the same period.

Leitrim's incidence rate per 100,000 people in the last two weeks is now half of the national average of 70.4

Latest data published by the HSPC reveal eleven cases of Covid-19 notified in the last two weeks in County Leitrim - with an incidence rate of 34.3.

Roscommon's rate is 43.4, Longford's is 36.7, Monaghan's is 39.1 and Cavan's is 22.3

As of midnight last Wednesday, September 16th, Leitrim's Covid fortnightly rate per 100,000 was 81.1.
