Software company Cora Systems based in Carrick-on-Shannon made the announcement this morning.
CEO Phillip Martin set up the business in 1999 with a workforce of just three and the company now manages over 100 billion dollars' worth of projects every day.
He believes an educated workforce in the region as well as its close proximity and links to ATU Sligo will be beneficial to the recruitment process
Speaking to Shannonside FM, the Carrick native believes its good news for Leitrim with the recruitment of these new positions already in progress.
