Leitrim in top four counties with highest Covid incidence rates

The five-day moving average of Covid-19 cases has reduced by 24 per cent in the past two weeks.

It now stands at 1,382 - compared to 1,815 a fortnight ago.

1,470 new cases were reported this evening, with 367 Covid patients in hospital and 59 in intensive care.

The border counties of Monaghan, Donegal, Cavan and Leitrim have the highest incidence rates.
