Gardai in Carrick-on-Shannon are investigating the theft of a low loader trailer in the town last weekend.
The twenty-four foot yellow Chieftain tri-axel low-loader was taken from outside a premises on the Dublin Road sometime between Friday and Monday.
It's believed that the trailer may have gone in the direction of Longford on the N4.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious, or noticed any vehicles near the trailer between Friday evening and Monday morning, or who may have dashcam footage, to contact them.
