Roscommon social entrepreneurs are being urged to enter this year's LEADER awards as the deadline fast approaches.
The accolades celebrate the work of social enterprises and highlight the huge contribution made by the self-employed business sector through the back to work scheme.
A prize fund of over €5,000 is on offer as well as a comprehensive advertising deal with Shannonside FM and the Roscommon Herald.
The awards will take place at the Kilbride Community Centre in Four Mile House on October 14th and entries close tomorrow evening at 5pm.

"Entry forms can be downloaded from the ROS leader partnership.ie website or there will be links on our Facebook page. If people want to give us a call, you can do so on 090 663 0252. We're very happy with the uptake we have had already. There are a number of applications already submitted. It's great seeing people wanting to take part in this type of awards process".
