Inspectors raised concern over risks identified for seven children, but not all had received a visit and regular visits to other children were also not scheduled.

There was also concern raised over the time frames for children to receive child protection conferences and reviews- even though they were highlighted as being carried out properly

Inspectors also highlighted a need for more effective governance and management systems to provide a more consistent and safe service as well as the need to improve monitoring and risk management systems.

The area was praised for its overall care of children and supported and promoted multidisciplinary involvement and cooperation to ensure that the needs of children were met in a timely way.
