HSE urging staff to protect urgent local care as IT hack continues

The HSE has told staff to protect urgent care - as the health service tries to deal with the impact of a major cyber attack. The IT systems were targetted by hackers on Friday - and it's led to thousands of appointments in the coming week being cancelled.

Chemotherapy and dialysis services are continuing as normal, but radiology is among the areas scaled back. Dr Denis McCauley from the Irish Medical Organisation's GP committee says there will be some disruption to routine appointments
