The number of people being treated in Irish hospitals with Covid-19 has fallen to it's lowest level this year.

649 people are receiving treatment - a drop of 58 on yesterday - while 69 people are in ICU.

Meanwhile UCC Professor of Immunovirology, Liam Fanning, is hopeful daily case numbers will continue to decrease.
