The establishment of a primary care centre is the next ambition for a community group in Longford's second largest town.
2021 saw the opening of a multi million euro library in Edgeworthstown after years of efforts to develop a facility in the historic town.
The facility has already recorded huge interest with thousands of people using its state of the art facilities each week.

Edgeworthstown auctioneer Frank Greene says the town is in the middle of a huge period of growth and transition - with Longford County Council also hoping to progress significant street enhancement plans in the coming years.
