The Minister for Health is under fire again today after rows over the exact number of vaccines Ireland is expected to get this month

There's been rows in the Dáil over the exact number of vaccines that will arrive into Ireland in April.

It's after Minister Stephen Donnelly told his party 860,000 doses will arrive this month - down on the expected 1 million doses. There was further frustration in the Dáil this morning over the shifting ground when it comes to vaccination numbers.

Minister Donnelly told his parliamentary party last night the figure would be 860k in April. He also again defended the decision to change the vaccine roll-out list, with government saying an age-based system is the right way to go.
