County planners have given the greenlight for a new Primary Care Centre for Roscommon.
The plan submitted by Galway based company Sharpdale ltd, calls for the demolition of an old medical centre on the Convent Road in Ballaghderreen and the construction of a new facility.
Permission has been granted to build a new two storey centre on the site incorporating a full GP Suite, external waste compound and new car park layout.

The project has been given the go-ahead with 16 conditions attached.
They include a developer contribution of €22,000 to Roscommon County Council and a provision that work must only take place during the hours of 8am to 6pm during the week and 8am to 2pm on Saturdays.
