Government to discuss new laws on indoor dining for vaccinated people only

534 new covid-19 cases were confirmed yesterday and the HSE has warned the growth of the Delta variant will soon outmatch vaccine supply.

The Government is looking to pass new legislation in the next week on allowing only vaccinated people to eat inside restaurants.

NPHET will not be consulted further by Minister, as they have received advice already on the matter.

Cabinet will likely decide on a date for the possible return of indoor dining on Tuesday.
