Leitrim County Planners have given the greenlight for the significant upgrade of Ballinamore Marina.
G T Hare Systems Irl Ltd got the go ahead for the works at the facility on the Convent Road in Ballinamore.
Plans submitted to the council sought permission for the construction on 4 shower rooms with toilets, storage areas, an on shore boat foul waste disposal and bin store.

Also included in the application was the change of use of the entrance area and the permission to complete a wall and roof construction.
County planners approved the permission with 6 conditions attached, one including the developers pay a contribution fee of €1,950.
