Gardai Castlerea are investigating after a break-in at a business premises in Strokestown earlier this week.
The incident, which occurred on Main Street took place sometime between 10pm on Monday night and 9am on Tuesday morning.
The burglars forced their way into the premises and are believed to have taken a small amount of cash.
Gardaí are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to contact them.
Elsewhere gardaí are also investigating after the theft of tools from a van in Ballaghaderreen last week.
The tools, including drills and a grinder, with a combined value of up to €1000, were taken from a parked van sometime between the 12th and 13th of this month.
