Gardai are investigating a break into at a home in the Barrymore area of Athlone this week.
It's understood a window was forced open in the home and a number of items were taken.
Separately, gardaí are also investigating an attempted break-in in the Newtowngore area of Leitrim.

The incident occurred at a home just after 5pm last night with a vehicle seen leaving the area in the direction of Ballyconnell.
Anyone with any information on either incident is asked to contact gardaí in Athlone or Carrick-on-Shannon.
