Gardaí are investigating the sudden death of a woman in Leitrim last night.
The woman in her 70s, was discovered on the Manorhamilton Road in Drumkeerin around 10.30 last night.
Following medical treatment from an attending ambulance crew, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her body has been removed for a post mortem examination and investigations are ongoing.
Anyone in the Drumkeerin area who was near the Manorhamilton road last night is asked to contact their local Garda Station.
