Gardaí in Longford are appealing for information following a spate of burglaries in the county.
On the evening of Thursday the 14th of October, five unoccupied houses in the west of the county were broken into and property including cash was taken.
The burglaries occurred at St Matthew Park in Ballymahon, Derryhaun, Kenagh, Radharc na Muilleann in Lanesboro and Shannon Grove in Ballyleague between 7 pm and 10 pm.
Local Gardaí are seeking information on a dark coloured car believed to be a Lexus 2005/2006 model, with a similar vehicle spotted in the Ballymahon and Lanesboro/Ballyleague areas on the evening in question.
Anyone who has any information or who may have video footage, including dashcam footage of the areas in question, are being urged to contact Gardaí.
