The funeral of west Roscommon natives Thomas and Eileen Mahon who died in a house fire in Co Mayo last week will take place later this morning.
They were a well-known and respected couple in their sixties who had run a furniture business in the area prior to their retirement.
The fire broke out at in the early hours of Tuesday morning last week in the Deerpark area of Swinford. Fire officer in Ballaghaderreen Micheál Frain paid tribute to the couple.
