Four women have been arrested in connection with a violent public order incident in Granard last weekend.
The women were detained by Gardai this morning after two cars collided and an altercation took place just yards from a supermarket in the town last Sunday afternoon.
One person sustained minor injuries in the incident and significant damage was caused to the black Ford car.

The women are currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 Criminal Justice Act at Granard and Longford Garda Station.
