Four lives lost on Irish roads over the weekend

In Roscommon a 25-year-old man was killed in a single vehicle collision near Athleague yesterday morning.

This weekend saw another four people lose their lives on Irish roads.

Yesterday afternoon, a male motorcyclist died in a road crash outside Glenties in County Donegal.

While two pedestrians - a teenage boy and a man in his 40s - in separate incidents in Listowel in county Kerry and near Dundalk in county Louth over the weekend.

It brings the total number of people who have died on Irish roads this year, to 144.
