Former Leitrim councillor Séadhna Logan is appealing to members of the Carrick-on-Shannon MD not to vote on plans for Mohill town tomorrow.
A Part 8 Public Realm Plan for the town is due to be voted on by members of the local authority tomorrow morning but Séadhna Logan says the proposals have caused huge upset locally and haven't been properly discussed.
He says business people on Main Street, and in others parts of the town, feel the plans will leave the streets too narrow, and will leave them without vital car parking spaces for their customers.
Séadhna Logan says that as a former member of the local authority he's well aware that approval of the plan might be time sensitive, but he still wants them to adjourn any decision.
