Ireland's largest traditional music festival gets underway in Westmeath today.
Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann takes place in Mullingar from the 6th to 14th of August.
Mullingar also hosted the Fleadh last year, welcoming 500,000 visitors to the town and generating over €30 million for the local economy.

A further half a million people are expected to visit the town over the next week.
Road closures will be in effect for the duration of the fleadh and shuttle buses will be in operation.
