Five groups will represent the Shannonside region in this year’s Pride of Place awards, which take place virtually on Saturday.
Three Roscommon groups have been shortlisted - the Ballaghderreen Men’s Shed, Kilteevan Tidy Towns and Roscommon Gaels GAA Gaels All Stars.
Dromahair is listed in the 300 – 1000 population category.

The Townspark area of Carrick on Shannon is up for an award in the Urban Area category, it already has an orchard and a small apiary with two community hives.
