The 81st Fine Gael Ard Fheis is getting underway in Athlone today.
The event is being held at the Technological University campus in the town.
Tanaiste Leo Varadkar will make his address at 6:30 this evening which will be broadcast on national television.

Party members, td's, senators and mep's have arrived in the town for the Ard Fheis where it's expected the cost of living and housing crisis will be discussed.
Leo Varadkar will address two thousand people at it's National Conference in Athlone this evening, just weeks away from when he’s expected to take over as Taoiseach again.
