Fine Gael announce Maeve Reynolds as Carrick on Shannon candidate

Annaduff native Maeve Reynolds was last night confirmed as Fine Gael’s only candidate for the Carrick-on-Shannon local electoral area. Sitting councillors Thomas Mulligan and Finola Armstrong-Maguire have already announced they wouldn't be seeking re-election. Maeve Reynolds is the mother of three young children and lives between Jamestown and Drumsna.

She says childcare, support for local businesses and the challenges facing farmers will be high on her agenda. Speaking to Shannonside News, she said she would bring a different voice to the Chamber.
