Fears of airport delays this summer as DAA warns of staff shortages

Dublin Airport say they may not have the resources to hire more staff to cope with demand.

Passengers traveling from Dublin airport this summer could face delays, due to staff shortages.

The airport says it needs to recruit more staff to cope with anticipated demand.

Dublin Airport Authority says its request has "fallen on deaf ears" at the Commission for Aviation Regulation's office.

Eoghan Corry, Editor of Air and Travel magazine, says the authority's chairman has written to the regulator:

A letter that went from the Dublin Airport Authority's chairman saying how do you expect us to staff up our security, how do you expect us to offer the services that passengers expect when we're not allowed charge enough.
