Fears Irish citizens in Afghanistan will not get out before US forces withdraw

There are reports of large crowds at Kabul airport despite warnings of a potential terrorist attack.

It's unlikely all Irish citizens will be able to get out of Afghanistan by August 31st, according to a security expert.

Evacuations are entering their finals days before US forces withdraw on Tuesday.

Irish army rangers are working to get 36 Irish citizens out.

Meanwhile, there are mounting fears of a terrorist attack at Kabul airport from the ISIS-K militant group.

Security and Defence Analyst, Declan Power, says getting all 36 Irish citizens out in the coming days is unlikely:
