Farrells from all parts of the country gathered in Longford Town yesterday to officially launch this year's clan rally.
This year marks the tenth international Farrell Clan Rally, a celebration of the Farrell ancestry, which traces back to Co Longford.
Activities will run from the 20th to the 24th of July, with parades and historical tours planned.
This year will also see the appointment of Charlotte Farrell as the rally's new chieftain.
