Emergency services attend two vehicle collision at Frenchpark

Emergency services are at the scene of a two vehicle crash just outside Frenchpark.

Traffic is down to one lane after the collision which occurred on the Ballanagare side of the village.

Motorists are asked to expect delays and approach the area with caution.

Meanwhile Gardai in Roscommon are investigating an early morning road traffic collision in Roscommon town.

It's understood a car left the road at the Athlone road roundabout and went into the front of the Roscommon Herald offices shortly after 5am.

The driver was arrested at the scene.
