The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust is helping to return the body of Longford woman Sarah McNally to Ireland after she was killed in the US.
The 41-year-old was stabbed in the neck in a pub where she was working in Queens, New York, on Saturday evening. She was was pronounced dead soon after.
Police suspect she was killed by a person known to her in a targeted attack. Sarah is from Longford town and moved to the US around 10 years ago. Local TD Joe Flaherty says she was highly regarded at home and New York.
