The Regional Group of TDs is calling on the Government to provide funding options to ensure the future of the post office network.
They believe it must take action to prevent hundreds of post offices from closing over the next 12 months.
They're awaiting confirmation from Environment Minister Eamon Ryan over state subvention funding of between 10 and 12 thousand euro.
