Minister Heather Humphreys has announced Clár funding of over €1 million for local organisations across the Shannonside region.
The funding can be used to develop the likes of walkways, parking facilities and improve accessibility. Roscommon received almost €360,000 worth of funding for 8 projects across the county. Ballinagare Health & Leisure Centre and Ballyleague Hall have both been granted €50,000 each for the Internal Renovation work of their community centres. €340,000 worth of funding has been provided to 9 organisations in County Longford. Granard Community Centre and Scoil Samhthann, Ballinalee are receiving €50,000 each for their respective projects. Meanwhile, just over €304,00 in Clár funding has been made available for 8 projects in Co Leitrim.
Dromahair Arts and Recreation Centre were granted €50,000 to upgrade the community car park and improve access.
