A 30-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of his father in Dublin on Sunday night.
Gareth Sheeran of Carriglea View in Firhouse, is accused of murdering 65-year-old Harry Sheeran at the same address. He was charged just after 11pm last night and appeared before Judge Patricia McNamara at Tallaght District Court this morning.
Mr Sheeran was remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court next Tuesday.
