A motorist has been arrested in Longford for a number of traffic offences over the weekend.
Longford Roads Policing Unit on patrol on the Dublin road in the town detected the speeding motorist.
After the vehicle was stopped, Gardaí administered a road side drug swab on the driver.

The drug test returned a positive result for Cocaine, with the motorist also found to be disqualified
They were arrested at the scene and taken to Longford Garda station.
