Over 20,000 euro in cash and six American pitbull dogs have been seized following searches by Gardai in Roscommon.
Multi-agency searches took place in the county on Thursday resulting in the seizure of a Rolex watch and €21,950 in cash as part of investigations into suspected offences contrary to the Money Laundering Act 2010.
Further follow-up searches by the Roscommon Divisional Drugs Unit led to seizures of cocaine and cannabis, and at another search, and six American pit bull dogs were seized by the ISPCA under animal neglect legislation.

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
