Boat owners and masters of vessels are being warned to proceed with caution on the River Shannon in Carrick-on-Shannon today
Divers, working on behalf of Leitrim County Council, are carrying out works near the bridge and quay walls.
Divers will be carrying out survey works in three key areas; along the quay wall approximately 30 metres downstream of the bridge and 30 metres upstream of the bridge as well as along the quay wall near the boat club.

Waterways Ireland is asking all Masters of vessels and those enjoying the water to proceed with additional caution in the vicinity of the diving operations.
