Hundreds of thousands of people in Ireland and around the world have taken part in Darkness into Light.

This year the event took place in a number of locations across Ireland and the world to raise funds for suicide charity Pieta House.

Group walks and events, which have not taken place since 2019, began in the early hours of this morning.
