A local Councillor has urged e-scooter users to drive carefully after she was nearly knocked down in Roscommon recently.
Cllr Kathleen Shanagher said she was leaving a shop in Roscommon town when her near miss occurred.
The Independent Councillor said the e-scooter was being driven at speed on a footpath on Castle Street in the town.

She encouraged members of the public to inform Gardaí should they encounter e-scooters being driven dangerously.
