Longford Fianna Fail Deputy Joe Flaherty has said the Providers building in Longford town could yet be sold to a private developer.
The TD was speaking on the Let's Talk show this afternoon in the context of planning permission being granted for the expansion of ETB training facilities at Connolly Barracks, and plans for the Camlin Quarter.

Deputy Flaherty said he believes if the local authority was to sell the building it would have to be on the basis that some 'public dividend' element would be incorporated in the future use of the premises.
