Builders have completed the construction of the new hospice in Roscommon town.
Desipte Covid 19 restrictions, the €6 million euro project has come in within time and on budget.
The Roscommon facility will provide Day Care and Community Care, as well as an 8 Bed In-Patient Unit providing respite and end of life services.

The building and site is being cleaned this week to allow for furnishings to be fitted.
CEO of the Roscommon Mayo Hospice Martina Jennings says they are still on track for opening in the Autumn.
She explains negotiations are underway now to begin the recruitment of staff.
