A small quantity of cocaine and fireworks were seized in Longford last night following a search of a home in the county town.
Garda have confirmed that the search was carried out as aport of Operation tombola, which targets the illegal sale and importation of fireworks.
A number of items were seized, including approximately €500 in suspected cocaine at the premises. No arrests have been made at this time. Investigations are ongoing.
