Roscommon Civil Defence are thanking the public for their help during a rescue in Ballyleague marina last night.
The alarm was raised by several boat users last night after an individual entered the water.
A multi agency response, including local gardaí and voluntary groups responded to the incident quickly and the Civil Defence has confirmed a successful recovery of a person from the water took place.

It’s not yet clear if the person suffered any significant injuries in the incident.
