Hundreds of childcare providers will shut their doors today to protest over funding issues.
Protests will take place in Cork, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Clare and Dublin.
The Federation of Early Childhood Providers is warning the new core funding model is "unsustainable".

Chairperson of the FECP, Elaine Dunne, says their services are under huge pressure.
But Minister O'Gorman says he's really disappointed these protests are proceeding.
