The new University is being seen as a game-changer for education and further learning in the north west

The Chair of the newly formed Atlantic TU believes the University has the capacity to be transformative.

Leitrim native, Maura McNally says students no longer have to travel to access the right of education and hopes people will return to the North West to study.

The new TU is spread across eight campuses which offers almost 600 academic programmes to over 20,000 students.

The Bar Council of Ireland chair is encouraging everyone to take the opportunity of education on our doorstep.
