Roscommon bowed out of the All-Ireland junior camogie semi-final after Cavan caused a surprising landing a 16 to 1-6 victory in Athleague.

A 44th minute Goal from Roisin O’Keefe and Shanise Fitzsimons found the net five minutes later moved Cavan eight points ahead as they stormed onto victory.

The sides were level at half-time after Roscommon’s Shauna Flanagan found the net in the opening minute of the game, but Cavan fought back as they sides went in a the break 1-3 to six points.

Cavan however were excellent after the restart three Sinead McKenna points and one from Shanise Fitzsimons setting the tone for victory.

O’Keefe and Fitzimons quick fire goals changing the nature of the game as Cavan advance to the All-Ireland premier junior final.
