Calls for public information session on laws for pulling trailers

The Road Safety Authority is to be asked to deliver a information session on regulations and laws regarding trailers in Roscommon.

Councillor Paschal Fitzmaurice appealed to senior members of the Gardai to facilitate the briefing at a future public meeting of the Joint Policing Committee.

He says while people can pull a smaller single axel trailer with the standard B license, it's gets more complicated the greater the weight of the trailer.

Councillor Fitzmaurice says while many people are aware of the system, for others it's quite complicated.
