The cabinet sub-committee on Covid will meet today to consider the plan to ease restrictions on the entertainment sector, indoor dining and international travel.
It comes ahead of an official announcement from the Taoiseach tomorrow evening.
NPHET met yesterday and gave the government a positive view on easing more restrictions.
