Business has returned to normal at a midlands hotel after a fire this morning.
Emergency services were called to a fire at the Bloomfield House Hotel in Westmeath before 9am this morning.
The building was evacuated after smoke was detected on the upper floors.

The hotel was examined and has been deemed safe.
The management and staff have thanked the Westmeath Fire and Rescue Service for their swift response.
